Kim Syrus has been a familiar face in the Australian garden media for nearly 2 decades. Beginning with guest appearances on Adelaide morning television, Gardening Australia, and even Here’s Humphrey as ‘Kim the Gardener’, he became resident horticulturist talking all things gardening on Channel 7 AM Adelaide for 3 years before securing the role as a presenter on The Garden Gurus, shown nationally through Channel 9 and GEM.

Kim has recently added ‘travel’ to his media repertoire as a presenter, for the past 2 years on Explore, a travel program shown on Channel 9 & GEM, giving viewers a taste of new and exciting experiences in often visited locations. Whether he be swimming with Beluga whales in Canada’s Churchill River or watching Black Bears fish for salmon in the wilds of British Columbia, there’s always something special to show. With more international destinations planned for 2013, Kim will be ready with his passport!
